Description:

XR Beamish Damp Seal has been specially formulated to seal patches of penetrating damp on interior walls and ceilings in just one coat, preventing tem from showing through and spoiling decorations. XR Beamish Damp Seal has a matt white finish that can be decorated if required.

Specifications: 

Before Use…

Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from loose particles and mould. Remove any wallpaper or loose paint. Fill holes or cracks with an appropriate filler and sand down well. Mask surrounding areas to protect from overspray. XR Beamish Damp Seal is not a cure for damp, which should always be treated at source before applying, and is not suitable for use against rising damp. XR Beamish Damp Seal should not be used at ground level, where efflorescent salts are present, or where condensation is a problem.

How to Use…

1. Allow new plaster to dry at least 1 to 2 weeks before using this product;

2. Shake well until you hear the steel pellet rattling and then continue for 1 more minute;

3. Spray evenly over the damp patch from a distance of 20~30cm until patch is covered. Shake can occasionally during use;

4. Allow at least 2 hours to dry before decorating. For heavier damp patches apply a second coat for best results;

5. Treated surfaces are now ready to decorate.

After Use…

Invert the can and spray until nozzle is cleared to prevent clogging. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
